The Ceramics and its Dimensions: Shaping the Future touring exhibition opens its doors for the first time in Fiskars, Finland, in November 2016. The exhibition takes place in the White Hall exhibition space in Copper Smithy, Fiskars, Finland.

Ceramics and its Dimensions: Shaping the Future is one of the project’s ten modules (sub-projects) concentrated on exploring the future possibilities of ceramics and design. The sub-project is led by Aalto University, School of Arts, Design and Architecture, Department of Design and it consists of a student workshop, a touring exhibition and a related publication. 

During the exhibition local ceramist Karin Widnäs has a ceramics pop-up shop next to the entrance of the exhibition. There is a Christmas bus ride organized from Helsinki to Fiskars and back on Saturdays November 19th and 26th and on December 3rd. Read more on the Fiskars Christmas bus.
